Your Spring Style

Spring is here, although it may not seem that way looking out today, but there’s hope for warmer weather soon to come. With that in mind, there’s a desire to wear fun, colorful warm weather clothing. The colors this spring and summer are lots of bright colorful prints. So, look out for prints with 2 or more color patterns rather than just the simple solid colors that are usually worn in the winter. Time to pick up a blouse or dress that’s ultra feminine; or for the men a shirt that has an embroidered pattern and several colors splashed together in a tie-dye fusion. This will just add some pep to your step.

If you are a little bit more conservative and prefer to keep to the solid colors then consider carrying the print on your handbag or through the recycled paper or coconut necklaces. Maybe even a beaded leather bracelet on your wrist.

I happily came across these young Kenyan designers Bangili Jangili based in Australia the other day and wanted to share some examples of African-inspired accessories that you might be interested in. Ladies, what do you think of their work? I’d love to hear your take on these styles as we work on getting some in the store. So send us a comment and let us know what you think of Bangili Jangili’s creativity.
